The Police - “The Bed’s Too Big Without You”
Now THIS is a real band. The haunting groove and repetition of this song remains within me today. The softly stabbing reggae guitar and the almost-too-perfect drumming pair with the deeply rooted bass line so perfectly. Everything about this song is beautiful and captivating.
The instrumental break, heavily driven by Stewart Copeland’s drumming, around the 3:00 minute mark is just great. I strongly recommend watching and listening to this if you consider yourself a fan of good music.
