Going back and listening to my Clash records again. If only I had a time machine; I couldn’t even imagine how amazing it would be to see them live. There was a vibe so different about The Clash, no other band could convey what they did in the same way. From Joe Strummer’s growl, to Mick Jones’ urgent songwriting, and Paul Simonon’s unreal bass playing. I don’t know why I’ve always been so attracted to the bass guitar, but Paul Simonon is a huge factor in that. If you haven’t listened in a while, go put on Sandinista, or London Calling, or Combat Rock, or whatever. Just do it, it’ll feel really good.

the coolest guys to ever walk this earth
Without this band I would not be who I am. My one regret in life is that I will never get to see them live.
